COVID-19 Safety in the Clinic

We know that Covid-19 is changing the way we all socially interact. Besides not shaking hands with you, we have added more safety measures to keep you and our team healthy.
Since re-opening at the end of May 2020, here’s what we have been doing and have added to ensure our team and you stay safe:
1. Forms you fill out are sent directly to you to fill out at home on your device.
2. Door handles are wiped with medical-grade wipes every hour and after every person touches the door handles.
3. We ask that everyone wear a mask when not in the treatment rooms.
4. We take a no-touch thermometer temperature reading of everyone at the front door. Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will be asked to leave and reschedule their appointment. If it is a team member, they will be sent home. If they are sick, we are not having them come to the clinic.
5. Screening questions for everyone to eliminate anyone with interactions with Covid+ or flu/diarrhea symptoms. We ask that you call and reschedule your appointment if you have interacted with anyone, or yourself, who has diarrhea/flu symptoms.
6. We have removed all coffee/snacks out of the main lobby. Water and snacks are available upon request.
7. We have added HEPA air filters to each treatment room.
8. PPE worn by entire team. Head-shields worn by clinical team members, along with surgical masks and N95 masks for aerosol producing procedures.
9. We have you rinse with a hydrogen peroxide rinse before your appointment to reduce the amount of bacteria in your mouth.
10. After every patient’s appointment, we clean the suction lines with Slugbuster to eliminate any chance of you contacting with another patient’s saliva. We also use one-time use disposable suctions, air/water syringes for each patient. They get thrown away at the end of each treatment.
11. After completely cleaning and disinfecting the treatment rooms with Caviwipes (medical grade wipes) two times, we let the rooms rest for at least 45 minutes between each patient.
12. We switch out our lab jackets after every patient interaction so that any aerosols from the previous treatment will not be on out jackets.
13. We continue to follow the standards from the Center for Disease Control and OSHA and more.
See you soon! Stay safe and healthy!
